Snickerdoodle French Toast Sticks

Ingredients
  • 8 pieces of bread
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1½ tsp. cinnamon
  • pinch of salt
Directions
  1. Whisk together eggs, milk, and vanilla until well combined.
  2. Place in a shallow dish.
  3. Combine sugar and cinnamon in another shallow dish.
  4. Slice bread into 3 or 4 rectangle strips.
  5. Dip bread into egg mixture quickly, do not soak, then flip to wet all over, drain off excess.
  6. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar mixture.
  7. Heat a small amount of butter or coat pan with nonstick spray over medium heat.
  8. Place bread slices on preheated skillet and cook until golden brown, flip and brown the other side.
  9. Immediately dip hot french toast onto sugar mixture on both sides, knock off excess.
  10. Serve with your favorite syrup.
