Sherry is using recipes from the depression era and sharing her experiences with Recession/Depression Era Cooking.
Sherry said her experience with Potato Casserole was a real eye-opener. The recipe was a hit with her family, but she double the number of potatoes to feed her growing boys. I look forward to following her further experiences with Recession/Depression Era Cooking.

I found the depression era post fascinating. I would love to come upon an old cookbook like that. Thanks for the party… always interesting.
Good Morning!
This week, I’m sharing a recipe for Roasted Garlic & Sweet Potato Soup. It’s a delicious, hearty & nourishing soup that’s perfect for this time of year!
Oh, I love the vintage cookbook! I have a Betty Crooker Cookbook from the 70′s that my kids think is ancient. Imagine what they would think of a cookbook from the 30′s? What fun! I’m going to have to go browsing the thrift stores for old cookbooks
Have a great week!

Thank you for hosting! I shared my Cherry Chocolate cookie recipe this week!
Have a lovely weekend!
Just came across your website. I was reading the reviews and read one that said she would like to have the cook book. I found it on amazon.com.
