Gallery of Favorites 6/1

Gallery of Favorites
April of The 21st Century Housewife and I would like to welcome you to our weekend blog hop: Gallery of Favorites!

Marcy shares a touching look at her son’s quickly disappearing childhood. Marcy’s days of making sidewalk chalk paint, homemade bubbles, and flubber are behind her. Determined to make the most of this summer, Marcy shares her  Bucket List of activities that teenagers will enjoy.

Marcy continues to shares her series of challenges she gave to herself, so that she doesn’t remain, in the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson, “too timid and squeamish.” You can follow along as she completes 101 Things to do in 1001 Days. Marcy also hosts Scene from a Memoir on the first and third Friday of each month.

The Gallery of Favorites is a place for you to feature your favorite posts from your own blog. Although April and I both spend a lot of our time writing about food, we do have many other interests and we know our readers do as well. The Gallery of Favorites is a place for all bloggers – not just food bloggers – to share their ideas, interests and passions.

The Gallery of Favorites will remain open for entries until Monday afternoon. We hope that you will take the time to visit some of the other entries in our Gallery of Favorites. It is a great way to discover new writers, or a new side to some of your favorite bloggers.

  1. Thank you for hosting. I’m looking forward to checking out this week’s links. :)

I’ve linked two posts to the party this week:

The first is my first edition of “News of the Day” on “A Word From Aunt B.” I plan for this to be an (almost) daily feature on the blog, sharing whatever may have caught my eye on line that particular day.

The second is my recipe for Rhubarb Custard Ice Cream, a delicious treat combining the tart-sweet taste of rhubarb a creamy cooked custard.

    Enjoy!
