For Nancy, living prudently means to make good use of what she has and what she has been provided, not wasting things and trying to live as self sufficiently as she can. She tries to live in a practical manor and keep her pantry well stocked for whatever the future holds. She writes about her garden, preserving what she grows, stocking her pantry, and shares recipes and frugal tips.
During her 30 years of gardening, Nancy has completed both the Master Gardener and the Master Composter programs offered through the state extension bureaus. She gardens organically and shares gardening tips that are both useful and frugal.
Nancy is also a contributing editor of Prudent Living Magazine. They approached Nancy about writing the blog On the Home Front for them. She said, “It seemed like a natural choice as they believe in living prudently, and learning how to live a greener, healthier, more sustainable life”.
The Gallery of Favorites is a place for you to feature your favorite posts from your own blog. Although April and I both spend a lot of our time writing about food, we do have many other interests and we know our readers do as well. The Gallery of Favorites is a place for all bloggers – not just food bloggers – to share their ideas, interests and passions.

Hope you are having a great week and thanks for hosting!

Hi Alea, Thanks for hosting. My crazy schedule has kept off-line and I’ve been neglecting my social networking. I’ve been trying to link up when I can though I’ve been missing the deadlines on some parties.
Have a great summer and hope to link up again soon.
Thank you for hosting. I missed a week there so it’s nice to be back. I’m looking forward to checking out the new links.
I’ve linked my recipe for Rhubarb, Orange, and Ginger muffins. Enjoy.
