Gluten-Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Brownies

This easy recipe is inspired by Tamilyn at Butter My Kitchen. It makes use of boxed mixes to speed up the prep time. One of the things I like about Betty Crocker Gluten Free mixes is that, unlike most gluten free mixes, they include high altitude directions.

  1. They look delicious. Using box mixes does make things easier. I just wish they weren't so expensive.

  2. You are right, the boxed mixes are expensive. After I saw this on Butter My Kitchen, I went to the store and they were $2 off each box. I took it as a sign! :D

  3. We're not GF, but these look delicious anyway!

This looks great! And using two mixes in a 9×13 pan might last a little longer in my house. The brownies in a 8×8 just doesn't go far.

Ooh, nice and simple; just the way I like it! I haven't experimented with the Betty Crocker GF mixes yet… I'll have to get on that. And thanks for the link to the frosting recipes! I've been trying to figure out a way to make a dairy-, gluten-, and refined sugar-free frosting that also miraculously tastes good. The ones you linked to might at least be a good starting point!
