Helpful DIY Pumpkin Preserving Wash 

Supplies Needed

- 2 gallons of warm water - 3 cups of bleach - 1 cup of white vinegar

Step 1

In a large bucket or bin, pour your warm water, vinegar, and bleach in.

Stir well. Place your pumpkins prior to cutting them into the wash. Allow them to soak for one hour then remove.

Step 2

The water will hydrate the pumpkin, the vinegar cleans away dirt, while the bleach kills bacteria that would love to eat the pumpkin.

Step 3
