A delicious cross rib roast recipe
Ingredients
  • 3.5 - 6 pound cross rib roast
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1½ teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1½ teaspoons onion powder
  • 1½ teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon seasoned salt (How to Make Seasoned Salt)
  • ½ teaspoon coarse ground pepper
Directions
  1. Preheat the oven to 500 degrees.
  2. Place the roast in a roasting pan. Brush the roast with oil, then sprinkle the spices over the roast.
  3. Flip the roast so the fat side is up.
  4. Place in oven and roast for 25 minutes at 500 degrees.
  5. Turn the oven down to 200 degrees and cook for 25 minutes per pound or until the internal temperature is at least 145 degrees.
  6. Remove from oven and let rest for 20 minutes.
  7. Slice and serve.
