Apple Raisin Oats

Serves: 3 cups
 
Ingredients
  • 5 apples- peeled, cored, and cubed
  • ¼ cup old fashioned oats (Not instant oats)
  • ¼ cup raisins
  • 1 cup water
Directions
  1. Place the apples and water in a slow cooker on low for 5-8 hours.
  2. Once apples have cooked down to an applesauce appearance, add the oats, raisins, and another ½ cup of water. Mix well.
  3. Continue on low for another hour. You will notice the raisins begin to swell.
  4. Add the mixture to a blender and pulse a few times to further puree the oats and raisins.
  5. Serve or store immediately.
