Apple Raisin Oats

Recipe type: Slow Cooker Baby Food
Serves: 3 cups
- 5 apples- peeled, cored, and cubed
- ¼ cup old fashioned oats (Not instant oats)
- ¼ cup raisins
- 1 cup water
- Place the apples and water in a slow cooker on low for 5-8 hours.
- Once apples have cooked down to an applesauce appearance, add the oats, raisins, and another ½ cup of water. Mix well.
- Continue on low for another hour. You will notice the raisins begin to swell.
- Add the mixture to a blender and pulse a few times to further puree the oats and raisins.
- Serve or store immediately.
