Baked Rice Recipe

- 2 cups white rice (Basmati is my favorite)
- 3 cups vegetable or chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon fresh or 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
- Place the rice in a 13 x 9 casserole dish.
- Pour the broth and oil over the rice. Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and parsley.
- Stir well. Tightly cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and fluff with a fork.
