Chocolate Covered Pumpkin Spice Oreos
Serves: 12
  • Oreo cookie mold
  • 12 Pumpkin Spice Oreos
  • 1 tablespoon solid shortening
  • 1½ cups Wilton pumpkin spice candy melts
  • 1 green cookie icing squeeze pouch
  • 12 pumpkin candies
  1. Line a baking sheet with wax or parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. In a double boiler, melt the solid shortening. Add the pumpkin spice melts and stir occasionally until melted. Once melted, you might find it easier to transfer the melted candy into a smaller bowl to make it easier to handle.
  3. Add 2 tablespoons of the melted candy to each mold.
  4. Place an Oreo cookie on top of the melted pumpkin spice candy.
  5. Spoon additional melted candy on top of each cookie, until they are covered completely.
  6. Chill for one hour.
  7. Once chilled, pop the cookies out of their mold and place on the baking sheet.
  8. Squeeze cookie icing onto the top of each cookie in a zig zag pattern.
  9. Play a pumpkin candy on top of the green icing, directly in the middle of each cookie.
