Easy Homemade Fudge Sauce

Ingredients
  • ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ⅓ cup sugar
  • ⅓ cup heavy whipping cream or evaporated milk
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • pinch of salt
Directions
  1. In a medium sauce pan, melt butter and chocolate chips.
  2. Add cream, sugar, water and salt and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and boil over a low flame for 9 minutes stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Serve while still warm over ice-cream.
  5. Store unused fudge sauce in the refrigerator. Reheat the sauce in the microwave on high power for 30 – 50 seconds.
