Easy and Delicious Hasselback Red Potatoes
Ingredients
  • 1½ – 2 pounds red potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon seasoned salt (How to Make Seasoned Salt)
Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Thinly slice the red potatoes in ¼ inch thick slices. Only go ¾ of the way through the potatoes.
  3. Melt butter. Add oil and spices to butter. Stir well.
  4. Drizzle butter and oil mixture over the potatoes.
  5. Bake at 400 degrees for 45 minutes or until fork tender.
Notes
If you want to use more butter and oil, you can after 20 minutes. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter. Add it to 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Drizzle oil-butter mixture over the potatoes and finish baking.
