Cut your soap base into squares roughly 1”x1”. For my molds and the ones I linked above it takes about 4 of those for each block of soap you want to make.
Divide your soap squares into 3 separate bowls, you want to put the majority in one bowl, a little less in the next bowl, and just a couple in the 3rd.
Melt soap in the microwave in 30-second increments, stirring each time, it should take about 1 minute.
Remove from microwave and stir in about 4-8 drops of peppermint or your choice of essential oil into each bowl.
Quickly stir in brown in the bowl with the most, dark green in the bowl with the next smallest amount, and finally light green in the bowl with the least soap mixture until you get the shade of color you desire.
Pour dark green mixture into your molds evenly.
Pop into the fridge for 5 -10 minutes, until top begins to solidify.
Next, take your light green and heat in the microwave the same way you did the brown.
Pour over brown and place back in the fridge to set.
Heat the dark green, stirring until melted and then pour into the mold and place in the fridge to quick set for 1-2 hours.
Carefully remove soap from the mold.
No special instructions to store, just keep dry when not in use.
