Ingredients
Supplies Needed:
1cupwhite school glue
1Tablespoonbaking soda
1Tablespoonsaline contact solution
glitterwe used 4 colors
small glass bowls for each color
Instructions
Directions:
Combine school glue and baking soda in a large bowl to mix well.
Stir in saline contact solution, you will almost immediately notice that the mixture begins to pull away from the sides of the bowl, continue stirring until the contact solution thoroughly mixed throughout. If it is still too sticky to hold add more solution a 1/2 tsp. at a time, stirring well between each addition, you don't want to add too much because the slime will lose its elasticity and become too tough.
Once the texture is right, divide slime into bowls, you will need one for each color of glitter you are going to use. We did 4 in various shades of pink, purple, and red for a Valentine's Day theme.
Add glitter, we added a lot because we aren't using paint or food coloring we wanted a lot of color from the glitter, mix it well, kneading and pulling with your hands to get it worked in well.
