Glazed Carrots Recipe with Parsley
It only takes 5 ingredients and 15 minutes to make this quick and easy glazed carrots recipe.
- 1 pound sliced carrots
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
Add the butter to a medium pot. Melt the butter over a low flame and stir the sugar into the melted butter.
Pour a ½ cup of water into the pot and stir until the sugar is completely dissolved.
Add sliced carrots and stir to coat. Cook over medium heat.
Stir the carrots frequently while cooking off the liquid, approximately 13 minutes. The liquid should be cooked off when the carrots are “al dente”. If the liquid cooks off before the carrots are done, add a tablespoon or two of water.
To finish, add the dried parsley. Stir to coat and cook for 1 more minute.
