Peanut Butter Easter Eggs are a sweet and creamy homemade candy made with a smooth peanut butter filling coated in rich chocolate. Shaped like eggs, they’re a festive treat that’s perfect for Easter baskets, dessert trays, or gifting.
12ounceschocolate chips or brick chocolate for melting
Instructions
Mix the peanut butter and powdered sugar together until it is smooth.
Melt half of the chocolate and coat the bottom and halfway up the sides of each egg mold. Put the candy mold with chocolate into the freezer for 15 minutes or until the chocolate is set.
Spoon or pipe the peanut butter filling into the center of each chocolate coated egg.
Melt the rest of the chocolate and top the peanut butter filling to just above the halfway mark on the candy egg mold.
Freeze again for 15 minutes or until the candy is set. Gently remove the peanut butter eggs from the molds and enjoy!
