Ingredients
Supplies:
4 ounce bottle clear school glue
1tablespoonbaking soda
1tablespoonsensitive saline contact solution
glitter
Instructions
Pour the entire bottle of clear school glue into a large bowl.
Stir in 1 tablespoon of baking soda until well mixed.
Add glitter, stirring in as much as you like, we went a little crazy and kept adding it, after all, it was for New Year's and the more glitter the better! We used gold and a light wintery blue but you can do gold and silver, black and gold, blue and iridescent glitter or any other color or combination of colors you want.
Finally, add 2 teaspoons of contact solution and mix, mix, mix. Add a teaspoon more mix, repeat just until your slime starts to pull away from the sides and stick to the spoon rather than laying as a liquid in the bottom of the bowl. It will continue to firm up a bit as it sits so you don't want to add too much in the beginning, you may need slightly less or slightly more depending on your glue and sometimes the temperature or humidity.
Work it in with your hands a little to give it the best texture.
Store your sparkle slime recipe in a container with a tight-fitting lid for future use. We usually get a week or two of use out of our slime.
