20frozen Italian meatballs
1/2red bell pepperseeded and diced (reserve 2 tablespoons for garnish)
1/2green bell pepperseeded and diced (reserve 2 tablespoons for garnish)
1cupspaghetti sauce
1/2cupparmesan cheeseshredded
28tater totsthis was less than half of a 2-pound bag

Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Spray casserole dish with nonstick cooking spray.
Place the meatballs into the casserole dish and bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
Carefully remove the meatballs from the oven and place on a heat-proof surface. Stir in bell peppers and spaghetti sauce until the meatballs are coated. Even out the meatballs across the bottom of the pan.
Sprinkle the parmesan cheese over the meatball layer.
Arrange the tater tots on top of the cheese.
Return the casserole to the oven to bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until tater tots and meatballs reach an internal temperature of 165 degrees.
Remove from oven. Garnish with reserved bell peppers and serve hot.
