Ingredients
16ouncesstrawberries
1cupdark chocolate chipsmilk chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, or candy melts
1tablespoon coconut oil or shorteningor shortening
Instructions
Line a clean surface (a cookie sheet or cutting board) with parchment paper and set aside.
Wash and dry your strawberries. It is very important that your strawberries are dry so they don't make the chocolate "break" and go clumpy.
Melt the chocolate in 25-second bursts in the microwave, stirring in between each reheating. Add a bit of chocolate oil or shortening if your chocolate is not smooth.
Holding the green stem of the strawberry, roll your strawberry in melted chocolate and then place them on your prepared surface. Let the strawberries set completely before serving or packaging.
You can add sprinkles or drizzle on some white chocolate for effect.
