A delicious homemade cookies and cream icing made using crushed Oreos.

Ingredients

Oreo cookies
1/2
cup
softened butter
or dairy-free margarine
2
teaspoons
vanilla
pinch
of salt
4
cups
of powdered sugar
1
tablespoon
milk
or milk substitute
Instructions
Take your butter out of your fridge in plenty of time to let it come to room temperature.
Scrape the cream out of the center of the Oreo cookies. Then crush the chocolate cookies.
Add the butter to a mixing bowl and whip the butter for 2 minutes.
Add in the vanilla and the pinch of salt and mix.
Then alternate adding the powdered sugar and milk until it is all mixed in.
Whip the frosting for another minute or two.
Add the crushed Oreos. Stir in by hand until they are just mixed in.
Frost your cupcakes, cake, brownies, or cookies.
