Ingredients

diced onion

Instructions
In a large pot, saute onion and garlic in olive oil.
Add rice and water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer, cover with the lid, and simmer for 15 minutes.
Remove from heat, keep covered, and let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve immediately.
