Place the ground beef, onion, egg, flour, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl. Mix the ingredients together until thoroughly combined.
Form meatballs from the meat mixture..
Brown the meatballs in a large skillet that has a lid.
Pour beef broth over the meatballs; put the lid on the skillet and simmer for 25 minutes.
Prepare the other vegetables while the meatballs are cooking.
Push the meatballs to one side; add the potatoes and the carrots ( I sprinkle the veggies with a little extra salt and pepper), and divide the vegetables with the green onions.
Return the lid to the skillet and simmer for another 25 minutes.
Add thawed peas and simmer for another 5 minutes or until peas are warm and meatballs are completely cooked.
