Bourbon and Cherry Cocktail

Ingredients
- 1 ounce cherry simple syrup
- 1 1/2 ounces of good bourbon
- the juice of one orange slice
- ice
- 3 ounces of lemon lime and bitters
- Garnish with an orange slice and a stemmed Maraschino cherry
Instructions
- Into a cocktail shaker add cherry simple syrup, bourbon, and the juice of one orange slice, then top with ice.
- Secure the lid on the cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for 20 seconds.
- Strain contents into a standard rocks glass filled with ice.
- Top cocktail off with three (3) ounces of lemon, lime and bitters.
- Garnish with a fresh orange slice and a stemmed Maraschino cherry.
- Serve.
