Ingredients
4Jonagold Applesor whatever variety you prefer
2Bags of Caramel Squares
1Cupof Chocolate Covered Sunflower Seeds
1/2CupMilk
Instructions
Rinse and dry apples
Remove the stem and insert the Popsicle stick.
Use enough wax paper to accommodate four apples.
In a medium-sized sauce pot, melt 2 bags of caramels over medium heat. Stir in milk gradually. Only add enough to loosen the caramel.
When the caramel is melted, hold onto the Popsicle stick and dip apples into the melted caramel. Place dipped apples on the wax paper.
Set the caramel-covered apples in the refrigerator and allow them to cool for about 15 minutes.
Remove from fridge. Press the chocolate-covered sunflower seeds into the caramel-covered apples.
Place them back into the refrigerator to allow the caramel and sunflower seeds to fully set.
