olive oil

large onion
diced

garlic

cooked brown rice

cooked black beans
or a 15 oz. can, pour off liquid

diced tomatoes
or a 14.5 oz. can, don’t drain

bell pepper
diced

teaspoon
dried oregano

teaspoon
dried thyme

teaspoon
sage
1/2
teaspoon
basil
1/2
teaspoon
hot-pepper sauce
dash of pepper
Instructions
In a large pot, sauté the onion and garlic in the olive oil until tender.
Add all of the other ingredients and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes or until all of the flavors have blended.
