Gallery of Favorites

April of The 21st Century Housewife and I would like to welcome you to our weekend blog hop: Gallery of Favorites! This week April and I are focusing on holiday preparation. We encourage you to link up your holiday recipes, decorating tips, holiday crafts, food gifts, and organization tips.

Thank you to everyone who shared a post last week. Since we are focusing on the holidays, April and I are featuring two items that we thought would make lovely food gifts.

Penuche aka Brown Sugar Fudge from Louanne’s Kitchen

Cranberry Orange Pecan Bread from the Wednesday Baker

The Gallery of Favorites is a place for you to feature your favorite posts from your own blog. This week April and I would like to invite you to also share any holiday themed post that you have in your archives.

Link up your favorite post(s) below.
Include a link to your post, rather than to your blog.
Include a link to one of the hosts in your post, either through text or with a button:

The Gallery of Favorites will remain open for entries until Monday afternoon. We hope that you will take the time to visit some of the other entries in our Gallery of Favorites. It is a great way to discover new writers, or a new side to some of your favorite bloggers.

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
