If you need something to keep the kids busy and entertained at your Mardi Gras celebration this Mardi Gras Fluffy Slime Recipe fits the bill perfectly! It gives them the wonderful sensation of stretchy slime with a festive twist and some fluffy stuff added in to create a new texture. How fun are those Mardi Gras colors?

How to Make Fluffy Slime

To make super soft and fluffy slime, you need just a few things: glue, baking soda, contact solution, and shaving cream. The trick is to use the minimum amount of contact solution. If you use too much, your slime will become hard. The more shaving cream you use, the less you use the slimier it will be. So

5. Mix it all up well with your hands to combine, you may need to add a tiny bit more saline solution but add it sparingly, too much and it will be too hard and won’t stretch well.mixing up a fluffy slime recipe

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
