It is hard for me to carve time out of my busy schedule to go to the gym.  FitOrbit offers a convenient and affordable way for busy moms (and dads) to achieve their personal fitness goals.   FitOrbit provides:

  • Unlimited access to a real personal trainer who is available to you around the clock.
  • Customized, family-friendly meal plan including recipes and a grocery list!
  • Detailed, personalized fitness plan that you can do anywhere, anytime. Whether it’s doing lunges at the playground while you push your child on the swing or doing squats while folding laundry, the personal trainer can help you find moments during the day when you can easily add an exercise! Below is an example of a workout you can do while at the park with your child:

Playground Workout:

  • 3 sets of 10 triceps dips on park bench
  • 3 sets of 10 swing squats
  • 3 sets of 10 incline push-ups on park slide
  • 3 sets of 10 ballet leg lifts
I picked up some awesome tips for incorporating exercise into my busy day from talking with one of the personal trainers. You can try FitOrbit for FREE for 1 month.

Very interesting program – I’m a very busy person myself but I try to find time to exercise.

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
