11 DIY Playroom Furniture Projects- Improve storage and create cute design pieces in your child's playroom with these simple furniture tutorials.

I feel like I was super lucky as a kid to have a playroom. It was in the basement of our house and I loved that there was a space just for my brother and I to play and be creative. We had all of our favorite toys in there and it was such a blast to bring friends over to play with us. I don’t remember there being much furniture, however. I do remember one piece in particular and it was a homemade toy box that my grandfather made for us. He was very talented when it came to wood working and he made the toy box as well as a couple of doll beds for my dollies. I treasured them so much and passed them down to my daughter when she was little.

If you are looking for some fun DIY playroom furniture to keep your children’s stuff under control or maybe even something they can incorporate into their play, here are 11 DIY Playroom Furniture Projects that you can make.

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
