These tips will help you plan a frugal and memorable rustic wedding.Frugal Tips for Planning a Rustic Wedding- Here are some great ways to plan the rustic wedding of your dreams and save money in the process!Planning a rustic wedding can be tough but also rewarding! Rustic decor is in such high demand right now that you might have a hard time finding decor that’s affordable. The upside to planning a rustic wedding is that you can DIY your own decor, and if you have stuff lying around that is old and rugged, it’ll fit in perfectly! These Frugal Tips for Planning a Rustic Wedding should help you not only have the wedding of your dreams, but help you save a few bucks too!

Frugal Tips for Planning a Rustic Wedding

Find old barn wood! There are thousands of rustic wedding ideas that involve reclaimed barn wood and they are absolutely beautiful! If you can, scout around your town and ask friends and family if they have any old wood they’d be willing to part with. It doesn’t necessarily have to be pallets either, so that opens your options up quite a bit!

Snag yourself a rustic bouquet. There are tons of ways to turn a bouquet into a perfect rustic wedding piece! Find flowers and arrangements that you like and get creative with the help of a florist to conjure up the perfect rustic style bouquet! A beautiful bouquet can make a bride feel even more confident and beautiful and should always be a splurge for weddings!

Be unique! While there ARE thousands of rustic wedding ideas on Pinterest, try to incorporate a twist of your own into your wedding decor. Get your bridal party together and brainstorm. You’ll be surprised how creative some people can get with rustic wedding decor!

Pick your colors wisely. Pick colors for your wedding that you know you won’t regret later. While it can be cool to stay with the trends of what’s current, you also want to have your own personality incorporated into the decor! Although, if trends are your thing, that’s okay too! Mint and coral seem to be pretty popular this year, so be on the lookout for cute rustic wedding decor that incorporates those colors if you feel so inclined.

Ultimately, planning a rustic wedding is fairly easy because almost any decor can be turned rustic! With lots of Pinterest browsing and creative brainstorming, you can plan a perfect rustic wedding that will last as a memory forever in the minds of your guests!

Great tips! There are tons of old barns here in Indiana and I know the homeowners wouldnt pass up some spare change for people to host their wedding in the barn.

If you have time please share your tips and two other blog posts with us over at the DI & DI Link Party. I think our followers would love it! If you don’t have time, no worries. Have a great week!

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
