10 Free Cloth Diaper Patterns to help you save money on cloth diapers.

My “baby” is 11 years old and while raising a preteen can be a challenge, I remember what a challenge it was when she was born. She is my first and only child so I had no idea what I was doing and felt a little in the dark like most first time parents tend to feel.

When I look back, there are so many things I wish I had done when she was little and one of them was given cloth diapering more of a chance. I like the idea of it being better for the environment and who can turn down all the cute cloth pattern options out there? Cloth diapering is quite an investment if you have to buy them, but once you see how easy they are to make, you are going to be excited to do it yourself! Here are 10 great patterns to get you started.

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
