This hearty chili pasta bake recipe is a family favorite!

Chili Pasta Bake Recipe

Last week when I made Chili Stuffed Potatoes, I made a double batch of chili. Instead of serving the leftovers for lunch, I repurposed the leftover chili to make a Chili Pasta Bake and it was a hit with my entire family.

This Chili Pasta Bake recipe is easy to make whether you are making it with leftover chili or have to make a batch of chili. If you don’t have leftover chili, you can quickly whip up a batch of chili while the pasta is cooking.

Chili Pasta Bake Recipe

Prep Ahead Tip: The chili can be made 1 – 3 days ahead of time.

Ingredients
  • 5 – 6 cups of chili (here is my mild chili recipe)
  • 12 oz package of rotini pasta
  • ½ cup shredded cheese
 Directions
  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain the noodles.
  2. Mix the chili and drained pasta together in a 13 x 9 baking dish.
  3. Sprinkle cheese over the top of the pasta.
  4. Cover with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
  5. Remove foil and bake for 5 more minutes or until cheese is melted.

Chili Pasta Bake - a tasty way to enjoy leftover chili

This chili pasta casserole provides enough for two dinners for my family of five. I served it with asparagus from my evening of batch cooking vegetables and a garden salad.

You are a cook after my own heart! Just found your site today while googling leftover BBQ chicken recipes. I would like to see what you meant by ‘batch cooked vegetables’ but the link isn’t working.
