April of The 21st Century Housewife and I would like to welcome you to our  Gallery of Favorites Cookie Exchange! We would love for you to join us and share your favorite cookie recipes, both past and present. However, you do not have to link a cookie recipe, feel free to share your favorite posts on other topics as well.

This week we are featuring 4 Recipes that would be welcome at any Cookie Exchange: Peanut Butter Cup Cookies, Peppermint Chip Cookies, Peppermint Brownies, and Oatmeal Cranberry Cookies.

Peanut Butter Cup Cookies from Steak N Potatoes Kinda Gurl

Peppermint Brownies from Mom Essentials

Peppermint Chip Cookies from Tumbleweed Contessa

Oatmeal Cranberry Cookies from Mamal Diane

Now it is time for you to share your favorite cookie recipes:

The Gallery of Favorites is a place for you to feature your favorite posts from your own blog. Although April and I both spend a lot of our time writing about food, we do have many other interests and we know our readers do as well. The Gallery of Favorites is a place for all bloggers – not just food bloggers – to share their ideas, interests and passions.

Link up your favorite post(s) below.
Include a link to your post, rather than to your blog.

Love those cookies. We’re late this year. Still haven’t got started on that holiday baking. Gasp! :))

Coooookies! We’re making them this weekend, and having lots of fun. I linked up an old family favorite, Joe Froggers, which freezes well if you need to make the dough ahead of time.

Thank you so much for honoring my Pink Peppermint Chip Cookies. I have to admit I love the cookies but not nearly as much as the story of the plate. I’ve linked up another peppy favorite this week. I just can’t seem to get enough! Have a great week!

So really wonderful cookies… I’m not much of a baker. If only I could get my little pastry chef to blog. Thanks again for the party.

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
