Gallery of Favorites
April of The 21st Century Housewife and I would like to welcome you to our weekend blog hop: Gallery of Favorites!

This week we are featuring two amazing, seasonal recipes using peaches: Peach Mango Creamsicles and Spiced Peach Clafoutis.

Laureen, of Fox in the Kitchen, took creamsicles to a whole new level when she created these delicious Peach and Mango Creamsicle Recipe.

Rebecca, of Peanut Butter, Passports and Epinephrine, reveals her love affair with stone fruit with this delicious and gorgeous Spiced Peach Clafoutis Recipe.

The Gallery of Favorites is a place for you to feature your favorite posts from your own blog. Although April and I both spend a lot of our time writing about food, we do have many other interests and we know our readers do as well. The Gallery of Favorites is a place for all bloggers – not just food bloggers – to share their ideas, interests and passions.

Thank you for hosting. Nice theme this week. 🙂 That clafoutis looks heavenly.

I’ve linked two recipes this week; a peach spice muffin recipe (in keeping with your theme), and a recipe for chai spice scones. Either would be perfect with an afternoon cup of tea or coffee. Enjoy!

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
