Gingerbread Men Rice Krispie Treats Recipe
Ingredients:
- 10-ounce bag miniature marshmallows
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 3 tablespoons softened butter
- 1/4 cup cocoa candy melts
- Vanilla frosting
- Candy eyes
- Light pink candy eyes
Supplies Needed:
- Decorating bags
- Large microwave safe bowl
- Long Spoon
- 9×13” pan
- Non-stick cooking spray
- Circle cookie cutter
Directions:
- In a large bowl, combine your marshmallows, butter and cocoa melts and heat in the microwave for 1-2 minutes and mix well.
- Mix in your Rice Krispies cereal until your cereal is evenly covered in your marshmallow mixture.
- Grease a 9×13″ baking pan and press your chocolate Rice Krispies mixture into your pan firmly.
- Let sit for a few hours and use a large circle cookies cutter to cut out circle shaped Rice Krispies.
- Fill a decorating bag with frosting and cut a very small tip off the end.
- Use the decorating bag to draw a wavy circle around the outer edge of your chocolate Rice Krispie treats.
- Then use your frosting to stick on one pink candy melt on each side for cheeks.
- Use your frosting to stick two candy eyes in the center slightly above the candy melts.
- Finally, use your decorating bag to draw a wavy smile connecting the two pink candy melts.
