Prep-Ahead Meals sfrom Scratch: Sharing recipes from my cookbook with David of In The Kitchen with David

I am thrilled to announce that I will be on In The Kitchen with David on Wednesday, January 6th. David is QVC’s resident foodie, and a best-selling cookbook author. He is known for simplifying comfort food and creates recipes with busy families in mind, so I am particularly delighted  to have an opportunity to discuss my cookbook, Prep-Ahead Meals from Scratch, with him and let David try some of my recipes.

I am not sure exactly what time I will be on during the show. I will find out an hour or two before the show and share it on my Facebook Page, so you can follow me there if you want to know the exact time of my appearance.

Hi. I watched you on qvc last night. Book looks great . I also intrigued by your last name. Milham. That’s my mothers maiden name.

There aren’t very many Milhams in the US! When my children misbehave I tell them “Milhams don’t behave that way” and since the only Milham children they know are their siblings there is no evidence to the contrary. 😉

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
