Sometimes I forget to bring my reusable grocery bags to the store which leaves me with left over plastic bags. And although we use cloth handkerchiefs, I do keep tissue for our guests, which leaves me with leftover tissue boxes. So I combine two leftover items and create a new use for them:
I realize that this is a bit anticlimactic; I apologize for the let down. I stuff used plastic bags in an empty tissue box. I keep one box in the kitchen, ready for me to grab a bag and fill with snacks before going to the park. I also keep a box in each vehicle where I use the bags to carry home wet clothing, dirty shoes, sandy toys, and trash from our outings.

Great idea!
I have a tissue box that has monkeys on roller skates. I am saving it to do a scrapbook page for my nephew, we went to the skating rink for his birthday. lol
I made a recycling project out of plastic bags for use with plastic bags. See my blog!
I have the same roller skating monkey. I saved it and am making a card with it. It’s soooo cute!!
That's a cool idea. I especially like the idea of keeping them in your car.
I do the same thing! I keep a box in the bathroom closet for trashcan refills, since I use plastic grocery bags to line the bathroom trashcans.
Keeping a box in the car is an ingenious idea. With two little ones, there always seems to be trash in the car, and I never have a bag when I want to clean it out!
I stuff the plastic bags in a diaper wipe container…I keep one by the litterbox and then one in the bedroom for stinky diapers.
Thanks for all of the other ideas for reusing bags!
Please, keep them coming. I love learning new ways to use items that would otherwise go to waste.
You're full of good ideas. Thanks!
LOVE the idea! I am so going to use that one! =)
