I have shared how I use Swagbucks before. Now Lisa is sharing her tips for earning more SwagBucks:

SwagBucks is an awesome way to earn some extra cash online for only a few minutes of your time each day. If you’re not all that familiar with SwagBucks, they are basically a search engine that rewards you for performing searches online, playing games, redeeming coupons, and more. You are actually rewarded with SwagBucks as points, much like a virtual currency. After you earn a certain amount of SwagBucks, you can then easily redeem your SwagBucks to use towards gift cards, store credits, and more. It really just depends how much you need to save to get what you’re looking for. For example, my favorite way to redeem my SwagBucks for an Amazon eGift Card, where you only need 450 SwagBucks to redeem a gift code good for $5 to use at Amazon.com!

The first step is to signup for Swagbucks, if you haven’t already. If it’s your first time using SwagBucks, or if you just want to learn how to earn more points, then here are my top 10 tips to earning more SwagBucks.

1) Install the SwagBucks toolbar

You can earn up to 3x more SwagBucks by installing the SwagBucks toolbar! What makes this so simple is that you never have to go to the SwagBucks homepage to do your internet searches. All you have to do is install it onto your computer, and use the search bar like you normally would use any other search engine.

Whether you choose to download the SwagBucks toolbar or not, keep in mind that you can still go to the SwagBucks homepage and do your internet searches from there. If all you want to do is check your e-mail, then just type it in the search bar even though you might know the web address. What’s important here is to use this everyday. Some days you may earn SwagBucks, and some days you might not. You’ll know when you earn SwagBucks because it will let you know if you won any while you are searching.

2) Invite more of your friends to use SwagBucks

Another simple way to earn more SwagBucks is by referring your friends to join with you! For each friend you refer that joins under your personal referral link, you can earn up to 1000 SwagBucks for what each friend earns. So, say you have 10 friends join and they each earn 1000 SwagBucks, that means you’d score 10,000 SwagBucks from your friends that you can redeem towards gift cards or anything else! That’s about $110 in Amazon eGift Cards alone that you can use for FREE! In addition to earning points from having your friends join, you’ll also earn 50 SwagBucks every year on your birthday.

3) Earn SwagBucks by Using Printable Coupons or Save to Card Coupons

Another easy way to earn SwagBucks, is also by using Coupons! If you look under the “Discover” tab and click on “Coupons,” you can find printable coupons AND even coupons you can save to your stores royalty card.  For each coupon you redeem at the store, you will earn 10 SwagBucks! It may take up to 12 weeks for your points to show up, but it’s still a neat way to collect points, especially for those people who use coupons all the time.

4) Earn more SwagBucks by following the SwagBucks blog

Occasionally, the SwagBucks blog will give hints or tips to finding FREE Swag Codes, or even post the code somewhere within their blog post. In addition to possible snagging FREE Swag Codes, they even post upcoming SwagBucks events, deals you can take advantage of, and other opportunities. This is definitely the place to check for Swag Code earning events in the future.

5) Do your online shopping through SwagBucks

Did you know that you could actually redeem SwagBucks from doing your online shopping through them? It’s really easy! Just head on over to the SwagBucks site and click on the “Shop” tab at the top left. You can then choose from many stores like Walmart, Groupon, Hotels.com, etc. So, if you know you’re going to be placing an online order at Sephora, just check SwagBucks first to make sure you can earn points through them. Then, just click on the store you’re shopping at to start redeeming your points.  Instead of earning cash back, you earn SwagBucks. In fact, it will even tell you how much SwagBucks you can earn per dollar spent at that store.

6) Search for Swag Codes

Swag Codes are a great way to earn more SwagBucks. Every now and then, SwagBucks will release some sort of code/text that you can add into your account for additional points. You can find codes almost anywhere! From the Toolbar where you’ll receive an alert that a code is active, to the blog, on the SwagBucks Facebook page, or even on the SwagBucks Twitter account. And, you’ll even receive alerts in your SwagBucks inbox. There are a ton more ways to find them, but that’s a good start!

7) Earn more SwagBucks by taking the Daily Poll

One answer to a daily poll question could equal 1 SwagBuck per day. You can complete the Daily Poll by looking under the “Answer” tab at the top, and clicking on the “Daily Polls” on the drop down menu. Most of the time, there is only one question with mulitple choice answers. Other times, they may ask a few more questions.

8) Take Surveys

I’ll admit that I’m not much of a Survey taker, but some of the surveys that SwagBucks offers can earn you as much as 2000 SwagBucks from a single survey. Surveys come from the SwagBucks Market Research Program and is an awesome way to earn big SwagBucks simply by sharing opinions about products and services from top consumer brands. There is no limit to how many surveys you can complete, and there are always new offers you can take advantage of. To find the surveys, just click on the “Answers” tab at the top and click on “Surveys” from the drop down menu.

9) Watch the SwagBucks TV

Here’s another way to earn some FREE SwagBucks by watching the SwagBucks TV! What happens is you will have a meter track your views when you watch the videos. Once you hit 100% or about 10 videos watched, you will earn 3 SwagBucks! You can earn up to 150 SwagBucks a day. If you think about it, you can earn yourself enough for an Amazon eGift Card in as little as three days just by watching the SwagBucks TV!

10) Complete Special Offers

You can earn many points for completing special offers at SwagBucks. Basically, special offers could be signing up for a free trial, or even signing up for newsletters. There are many offers that require no credit card or payments, so don’t worry if all you find right now are paid offers. To get started, just click on the “Discover” tab and click on “Special Offers” to start earning SwagBucks.

So if you haven’t already done so, sign up for Swagbucks and turn them into gift cards and store credits.

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
