10 frugal fashion sunglasses

This week’s round up of frugal fashion deals is sunglasses! Now that the sun is peaking out, it is time to think of protecting our eyes. I used to be bad about wearing sunglasses, but living in the high dessert has converted me! Now I never leave the house without wearing my sunglasses. I even wear them when I am just puttering around in the yard.

We don’t have to spend a lot of money to find fashionable sunglasses. My friend Ashley has done the research for us and created a list of 10 inexpensive sunglasses – most are less than $30.00. She even found a pair for under $5.00!

To save time, I evaluate all my family’s sunglasses when I am making a list of what items they need for summer. This saves me from discovering that one of my kids broke/scratched/lost their sunglasses as we are driving to the lake (where sunglasses are very expensive!) Planning ahead lets me take time to find quality sunglasses at discount prices for the whole family.

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
