After last month’s great coupons, I have been disappointed with the coupons floating around right now. So I was excited when I found a link to a coupon for .75 off/1 Santa Cruz Organics at Money Saving Mom. Whole Foods Market and Savemart both had Lemonade on sale for $1.50, when combined with coupons they were .75 each (they usually sale for $3.00 each). There was a discussion over at The Frugal Girl following her post on balancing buying local, organic food with frugality. Most of us shared how we try to find balance between our competing priorities. This coupon is one of those times when frugal and organic are in harmony.

I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
