Save money this Christmas shopping online - coupon codes

I remember standing in lines on Black Friday that wrapped all the way around to the back of the store. I will not be doing that this year. Instead, I am doing most of my shopping online. I will venture out on Small Business Saturday to support our local stores and I will visit one of our malls on a “girl’s day out” during a low-traffic time. But on Friday morning you will find me snuggled under my down blanket and not worried about missing any sales because I will have already bought any must-haves online.

A Few of the Black Friday Deals Available Now Online:

Land’s End 30% Off + Free Shipping – Use Code WONDERLAND & Pin 2126
Good through 11/27

Express 50% Off Site Wide – Use this link – No code needed
Good through 11/23

Eddie Bauer 30% Off + Free shipping on Orders over $49 – Use Code WISHBONE
Good through 11/25

Loft 40% Off Entire Purchase –  Use Code Enjoy
Good through 11/23

Kohl’s 15% Off + Free Shipping on $50 orders – Use  Discount Code BLACKFRI
Good through 11/23

Best Buy 3 Days of Special Deals – Use this link – no code needed
Good through 11/24

Tools to Help You Save Money:

Check the Coupon Code Database for discount codes for all your favorite stores before you shop online. You can check by store, brand, or keyword.

Is that advertised price really a good deal??? Use camelcamelcamel.com to check out the price history of an item to see if it is really a good deal.

Use the RedLaser app on your iPhone or Android to check for the lowest price on an item in your area.

I will definitely be sleeping in! Black Friday combines three of my most hated things: waiting in lines, shopping in stores, getting up early.

    Never, ever.

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
