Disneyland trips are supposed to be magical, but sometimes they can be more stressful than anything. If you’re wondering How to Make Your Disneyland Trip Magical, keep reading because these tips will help you have the most memorable time of your life while visiting Disneyland.

How to Make Your Disneyland Trip Magical

Dress up! There’s nothing like getting into character at Disneyland or getting to dress up as one of your favorites! Include the whole family because Disneyland’s magic isn’t limited to children. You will be surprised by how much fun you can have by dressing up as your favorite character! But be warned- people might ask for pictures!

Budget! Budgeting ahead of time for your magical Disneyland trip is really important. This way, you aren’t struggling for money and you can actually enjoy yourself while you’re there! Make sure to leave room in your budget for all the things you want to buy or do on your Disneyland trip. If you’re dying to get a pair of famous Mickey ears, don’t spend all of your money on the first place you find. There might be even better ones at another shop in the park!

Watch the fireworks. The Disneyland fireworks are absolutely beautiful and a MUST for any Disneyland trip! It’s a great way to wind down at the end of the day after hours of walking the park and waiting in line for rides. You can sit down with the family, rest your feet, and watch a spectacular fireworks show! Often times, they have stories and voiceovers that accompany the fireworks which really add to the setting!

Try something new! This could be applied to any vacation trip, but trying something new is a perfect way to make your Disneyland trip magical! You might just fall in love with something you’ve never tried before and that makes it a different experience entirely!

Have a meal with the princesses. Of course, what Disneyland trip is complete without a visit to our favorite princesses? Having brunch with some of your favorite characters will make the trip totally magical for the kids and you might even enjoy it too!

To make your Disneyland trip magical, all you have to do is plan well, EXPERIENCE it (no cell phones unless for pictures), and spend time together doing the things you’ve been looking forward to the most at Disneyland. It’s easier said than done because things can get a little hectic at Disneyland, but it’ll be worth it in the end!

Do you have a Disneyland trip planned anytime soon? What are you planning on doing while you’re there? Do you have a favorite part of the park? Let’s discuss in the comments below!

We are possibly going to Disney for our 5 year wedding anniversary in October and then we plan on taking the kids next year sometime! I can’t wait! I went once when I was 2 but don’t remember it at all! I am working on outfits for each day we are there!

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
