When I was a kid, I was fascinated by a lot (weren’t we all?) but one thing that really excited me was the idea of shooting up in a space shuttle to outer space. I was more or less facinated by the astronauts and how they lived with zero gravity as well as the food they ate, too. I distinctly remember visiting a child’s museum when I was little that included a section on space flight and they sold “astronaut ice cream” and I begged for some. I thought it was the coolest thing to be eating the same type of ice cream the astronauts ate! If you are putting together a unit study on space flight, here are some space flight unit study resources to help you out!
