Fajitas are popular for good reason. It’s hard to beat the taste of smoky, savory meat served piping hot on warm tortillas. This sheet pan fajitas recipe is full of flavor and simple to prepare. It’s an easy way to make a large batch of chicken fajitas.

All you need to do is toss the chicken, peppers, and onion with oil and seasoning, then lay them out on a sheet pan and let the oven do the work. They’re hassle-free and exactly what you need on a weeknight.

To save time getting dinner ready, you can prep the ingredients (slice the chicken, bell peppers, onion) and keep them in a covered dish in the refrigerator overnight. Then when it’s time to make the fajitas, just add the spices and lime juice and mix them all in the bowl.

Sheet Pan Chicken Fajitas Recipe

Sheet Pan Chicken Fajitas are a quick and flavorful dinner made with tender chicken, colorful peppers, and onions tossed in bold fajita seasoning. Perfect for busy weeknights, these fajitas are great served in warm tortillas with your favorite toppings.

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds chicken breasts, cut into thin strips
  • 2 large or 3 medium bell peppers (any colors you prefer)
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 teaspoons Fajita Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • Juice from one lime
  • Cilantro, to garnish

Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
2. Cut the peppers, onion and chicken into thin strips.
3. Add the chicken and veggies to a bowl and drizzle them with olive oil. Stir the seasonings together, then add them to the bowl. Juice the lime into the bowl. Wearing disposable food safe gloves, mix everything together with your hands.

4. Grease a baking sheet and use tongs to arrange the chicken and veggies onto the baking sheet in a single layer.
