If you enjoy shopping at Target and are doing so on a budget, it is important that you know about all of the ways to save Target offers! Below, you will find 6 ways to save money at Target and get the most bang for your buck. Shopping at Target is of course fun, and now it can be frugal too. Take a look at how easy it is to save.
How to Save Money at Target:
1. Print Target Coupons
Target offers their own printable coupons available on their website. These coupon offers are good on food items, clothing, make up, toys, health products, and so much more, and are only redeemable at Target stores. The selection changes monthly, so you want to check back often for updates. Also, you can print up to two coupons per computer!
2. Enroll in the Cartwheel Rewards Program
The Cartwheel Rewards Program is Target’s newest rewards program for its customers. The Cartwheel Program allows you to choose the money saving offers you want and keep them in your virtual wheel. When you shop, bring your smart phone to show your wheel or print off your wheel and present it to the cashier. It is just that easy!
3. Get Target Text Alerts for Sales and Coupons
You can receive text alerts from Target for daily deals. You can also sign up to get coupon alerts. Coupons will be sent to your phone. You can redeem them at the register right from your screen.
4. Stack your savings.
When you shop at Target, you can stack all of the savings that are offered to you. This means you can stack a manufacturer coupon, a Cartwheel coupon, and a Target website printable coupon all on one product! For example, you can redeem a .50/1 Cheerios coupon, a .50/1 Cheerios Cartwheel offer, and a .50/1 Cheerios Target printable coupon for a total savings of $1.50. Here is a list of Target’s current sales with coupon matchups.
5. Price match.
Target will price match with other stores in your area. Be sure to pay good attention to local sales ads so when you swing in to your Target store, you can get additional savings through simple price matching.
6. Look for end cap clearance items.
Clearance items can be found at your local Target store at the end caps, or the end of the aisles. Check these spots over well to find red tagged items marked as much as 75% off.
See how easy it is to save money while shopping a Target? Take advantage of these many ways to save and you will be able to leave the store with a little cash left in your pocket.

I’m not sure what Kristen means by “another matter” but I have enjoyed the perks of a Target Visa card for years. It gets me the 5% off at Target, it donates 1% of my Target purchases to the school of my choice, and it works like any other Visa card anywhere else. I pay off my balance in full each month, so I never pay any fees.

I would also recommend you consider getting a target debit card it has no fees and works just like a debit card. It gets you 5% off and free shipping online. There credit card is another matter… Also if you get prescriptions( you can get most there for $4) and sign up for their prescription reward program you get 5% off card good for one day when you fill 5 prescriptions. (we get one every month)These both stack together and with coupons and our 10% employee discount. Also there is a three week window if something goes on sale after you buy it you can bring it in and get the difference back. Also they will credit you missed coupons for previous purchases(it’s in there policy)
