10 Free Crochet Patterns for Around Your Home

As I have been putting together these posts featuring incredibly talented crafters with everything from ladies hats to kid’s toys, I have come across a bunch of unexpected crochet patterns. They don’t really fit in a category I have done so far, but they are so awesome and unique they make me believe that you really can crochet just about anything! To prove it, here are 10 Free Home Decor Crochet Patterns!

10 Free Home Decor Crochet Patterns

Crafty Tuts has this ultra cute Amigurumi Cupcake Container. Wouldn’t this be so cute in a kitchen or even a child’s room to hold hair baubles?

I bet you think the only thing you could crochet for a bathroom is a toilet seat cover, didn’t you? Well, this Bath Pouf from Daisy Cottage Designs sure blows that out of the water!

Enchanted Mountain has this amazing and sophisticated looking Rug. It looks like it would be complicated, but she explains it in quite good detail so it could be easier than it appears!

If you are in need of a door stopper (or even if you aren’t!) this adorable Kitty Door Stopper from Annaboo’s House might be just what you are looking for.

Twin Dragonfly has a perfect pattern for you to make for your home! This Crochet Floor Poof (kind of like a mini beanbag) is perfect for kids to sit on or to rest your feet on as well.

For your kitchen, these Crunchy Stitch Crochet Dishcloths from Petals to Picots is really lovely. They would make easy and nice gifts, too!

Fans of chevron patterned things, you will love these Chevron Pillows from Red Heart. They are even set to easy to do so beginners can tackle this one!

Another great pattern for the kitchen is this Round Dish Casserole Carrier! Wouldn’t this be the perfect gift for your favorite person who loves to bring casseroles to every event?

Crafty By Nature has one of the best patterns in this entire post, I think! Of course, I may be biased since it is also an eco-friendly one, but these Reversible Swiffer Covers cut out the need for disposables!

Since you are here, I can assume you love to crochet, so you might be needing a basket for your yarn. Why not make this Chunky Basket from Crochet in Color?

So many awesome free crochet patterns here! Which are you going to try?

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
