You can buy peaches by the bushel in the summer time, which may cause you to have an abundance on hand. If you are looking for fun ways to use peaches up before they go bad, give these 10 uses for peaches a try. 10 Ways to Use Up Peaches Before They Go Bad

1. Peach Salsa
Adding a  sweet element to your salsa is a fantastic way to enjoy it. Take premade salsa and add diced peaches, or add a cup of diced peaches to your usual recipe. The sweet tartness adds an unusual but welcomed flavor.

2. Peach Pancakes
Doesn’t this sound delightful? Whether you are making batter from scratch or using boxed batter, why not add some diced peaches to the mix? The end result is a sweet treat in each bite.

3. Peach Fruit Leather/Dried Fruit Bits
Just like with other fruits, you can use peaches to make fruit leather or dried fruit bits for trail mix. Just make a puree from the peaches and a little honey. Pour in a tray and dehydrate until set. You can also dice peaches and place them in the tray to create dried bits for mixes.

4. Peach, Walnut, and Feta Salad
On a plate of greens, add some sliced peaches and toasted walnuts. Top with crumbled feta and dressing of your choice. It is the perfect lunchtime salad or appetizer for a hot summer night.

5. Stuffed Peaches
Make peaches even more amazing when you stuff them. Cut a peach in half and remove the pit. Stuff with cottage cheese and top with fresh berries or nuts. This is a beautiful dish for baby and bridal showers or can really fancy up a brunch.

6. Peach Lemonade
Add slices of fresh peaches to your lemonade and allow it to refrigerate for an hour. The flavors will mingle nicely and some vitamins will be added to your beverage.

7. Soaked Peaches
Place cut peaches into a bowl and pour in a liquor of your choice. Allow the peaches to soak. You can then serve these on top of ice cream as a wonderful, adult friendly dessert.

8. Peachy Perfect Baby Food
Babies love peaches. Wash your peaches well and puree them in a food processor. You can then store them in an air tight container until baby is ready to dine. They will love the sweet taste and smooth texture. You can even add sweet potatoes, bananas, or other like items to them to bulk them up if you wish.

9. Peach and Brown Sugar Scrub
Puree one peach. Add two tablespoons of brown sugar and mix by hand. The end result is a skin brightening sugar scrub you are sure to love. It smells great, removes dead skin, and really makes you glow.

10. Frozen Peach Bites
Cube a peach and sprinkle with cinnamon. Place on a tray and in the freezer until solid. These make a great snack for kids on a hot day and sure beat sugar filled popsicles and candy.
