I have been thinking of making our own soaps since some of the products in soap aggravate my kids’ skin. And soaps without the offending items are quite pricey. I have just started reading this book, but it really seems to break down the process into easily understandable steps. I also like that all of the tools mentions are items that I have on hand and all of the ingredients are in my pantry.

Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
