10 DIY Christmas Gift Ideas for Boys- These homemade gift tutorials will give you plenty of great ideas when it comes to the boys on your Christmas list.

Are you searching for gift ideas for a boy? Many people think it is harder to make homemade gifts for boys than it is for girls, but I don’t think so. My boys may be easy, but I could just give them wood and nails if I wanted to and let them go to town building whatever they want. Which reminds me, if you don’t want to actually make something, but you want to give them a gift that will inspire creativity, you can pick up a kit that they can assemble. My boys have had quite a bit of fun assembling bird houses and bird feeders.

However, if you are looking for gifts that you can make, there are lots of possibilities. You can sew costumes for boys for dress up play. What do they like pretending to be? Make that costume or an accessory for it. Do you have a card table? You can easily create a fort, by cutting fabric to cover the top and four sides (with a little extra to allow for the seams). Sew the sides to the top and make a slit in one side for the “door” and you have an awesome, inexpensive fort. Below you will find more ideas with these 10 DIY Christmas Gift Ideas for Boys.

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
