We have talked about using Amazon Local to save money on travel and to help you enjoy a date night on a budget. Those of you who are unfamiliar with Amazon Local may have wondered how it works. Katie is sharing how you can use Amazon Local to save money:

How Amazon Local works

Do you love daily deal sites such as Living Social and Groupon? If so, you will love Amazon Local, the latest shopping opportunity from your friends at Amazon. Amazon Local runs very much like these daily deal sites in the sense that you can score up to 75 % off dining deals, entertainment deals, and a variety of high quality merchandise as well. Does this sound like something you would be interested in? Take a look below to find out more about Amazon Local and how it works! It is really as easy as 1-2-3!

How to Save Money with Amazon Local:

1. Enter your preferences.
When you first visit Amazon Local, you set your city and zip code preference to see deals in your specific area. Now, if you are going to be traveling, be sure to reset your city and zip code to the area you are traveling in so you can take advantage of any hot deals that may be offered in that area. For example, you may be able to score a $50 gift card to a local eatery for as low as $25!

2. Check in daily.
Make sure you have signed up to receive email notifications or check the site a few times a week in order to stay abreast of all of the latest deals. Deals change daily so checking in often and getting such notifications is the best way to make sure you don’t miss a deal.

3. Redeem your vouchers.
Keeping your vouchers safe is easy since you simply store them online in your account. This prevents loss or theft, ultimately saving you cash! When you are ready, redeem your vouchers and save a considerable amount by doing so.

See? It is as easy as 1-2-3! Amazon Local offers so many hot deals. You can snag photography classes, car detailing services, photo finishing services, restaurant gift cards, spa gift cards, children’s toys, and so much more. Savings range anywhere from 25% to as much as 75%, allowing you to score some insane deals you won’t soon forget.

Not interested in any local deals? No worries! There are also a lot of national deals that pop up too. You are not just limited to deals in your area. You can shop any zip code or city of your choosing.

Visit Amazon Local today and get signed up to start saving money on fun activities in your area!

Welcome. I'm Alea!

On Premeditated Leftovers I share simple recipes made with whole foods, practical shopping tips, time saving techniques, and meal planning strategies. I also share tips for minimizing food waste, so more of the food that is purchased ends up on the table.

While volunteering as a budget counselor, I realized that food is the element of most people’s budgets where they have the greatest control. I set out to develop low-cost recipes from scratch to prove it’s possible to create delicious meals on a limited budget. Eating well while spending less is about more than just creating recipes using inexpensive ingredients; it’s about creatively combining ingredients so you don’t feel deprived and are inspired to stick to your budget.
